FRANKLIN, Tenn. (AP) _ Franklin Financial Network Inc. (FSB) on Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $10.5 million.

The bank, based in Franklin, Tennessee, said it had earnings of 70 cents per share.

The bank holding company posted revenue of $47.2 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $30 million, falling short of Street forecasts.

Franklin Financial Network shares have fallen roughly 1 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $33.78, a decrease of slightly more than 1 percent in the last 12 months.
