SECAUCUS, N.J. (AP) — SECAUCUS, N.J. (AP) — Freshpet Inc. (FRPT) on Monday reported fourth-quarter profit of $15.3 million.

On a per-share basis, the Secaucus, New Jersey-based company said it had net income of 31 cents.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 9 cents per share.

The seller of refrigerated fresh pet food posted revenue of $215.4 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $203.7 million.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $33.6 million, or 70 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $766.9 million.

Freshpet expects full-year revenue of $950 million.
