Gladys Knight Will Perform National Anthem At Super Bowl

Gladys Knight will be singing the national anthem at this year’s Super Bowl LIII. The Grammy-winning Knight will be performing the song in her Atlanta hometown, where the game will be held on Feb. 3 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The 74-year-old Knight said she will attempt to “unite and represent our country” when performing the song. A member of the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame, Knight is best known for her many hits in the 1970s, particularly her Grammy-winning 1973 smash with the Pips, Midnight Train to Georgia.
