Greek parliament approves 2019 budget

ATHENS (Reuters) - Greek lawmakers approved on Tuesday the country's first post-bailout budget which projects a high primary surplus next year and sees a pick-up in economic growth.

The budget forecasts a 2.5 percent growth in gross domestic output (GDP) in 2019 compared to a projected 2.1 percent this year. Greece is also expected to generate a primary surplus, which excludes debt servicing cost, of 3.6 percent GDP next year.
