Nov 28 (Reuters) - Hawaiian Electric said on Tuesday it has terminated an agreement with developer Innergex Renewable Energy for a planned solar and battery storage project, Paeahu Solar, in South Maui due to lengthy delays.

Four power purchase agreements, including the one for Paeahu Solar, have been terminated. Out of five solar projects approved on Maui since 2018, AES Corp's 60-megawatt Kuihelani project is the only one being built, the company said.
