Helix Resources kicks off drilling at its Cobar copper projects

Helix Resources Ltd (ASX:HLX) managing director Mike Rosenstreich tells Proactive a diamond and RC campaign is underway targeting some of the company’s most prospective regional geophysical targets.
The program will start at Fiveways and the Hermidale-Quanda areas, but he says there’s potential to expand the scope of the campaign depending on results. The targets have been developed as part of a broad-scale exploration program which has identified new prospects across Helix’s 3,000 square kilometre tenure.
Overall, Helix plans to undertake a high-level preliminary economic assessment of the new MRE to gain an understanding of open pit and underground mining opportunities and how this might fit into several local potential processing options.
This work will be supported by preliminary metallurgical test work on the different mineralisation styles identified at Canbelego
