Investors add Sears, drop JCP

Sears Holdings (SHLD) jumped 5.6% to 46.63 on Tue. after Chief Executive Eddie Lampert bought 1.24 mil shares of the department-store chain for $55 mil, using personal funds, according to a filing late Mon. His ESL Investments is a majority shareholder of the company. J.C. Penney (JCP), meanwhile, plummeted 10.6% to 14.96, hitting its lowest point since March '09, after Vornado Realty Trust dumped 10 mil shares, half its stake in the struggling company.
