Justin and Hailey Bieber’s Couples Style Gets The Simpsons Treatment

Photo: Getty ImagesJustin and Hailey Bieber have been immortalized in cartoon form. Today, the pop star Instagrammed himself with his model wife as characters from The Simpsons. The illustration was based off of a paparazzi shot from early July in New York City when Mrs. Bieber wore a Versace logo-print denim jacket and matching jeans with a sheared-off white tank top and her signature gold hoops. At the time, Mr. Bieber had gone the more unpolished route, sporting a backward pink hat, a T-shirt with the phrase “Island of the Gods Records,” a pair of gym shorts, and red striped socks with white hotel slippers.
So, will we be seeing the duo make a cameo on America’s longest-running TV show anytime soon? Not quite. The illustration was created by artist Stefano Monda of @steart_ who is not formally affiliated with the series. Monda has typically drawn soccer players as Simpsons characters but has also included fashion faces like model Cara Delevingne and the musician Dua Lipa in his Springfield-based feed. His portrayal of his subjects, like the Biebers, is largely true to life, though sometimes he takes creative liberties. For example, Monda gave Justin’s Simpsons counterpart a bad-boy hoop earring. No doubt, Bart would approve.
