Kendall Jenner Named Highest-Paid Model of 2018, According to Forbes
Even though Kendall Jenner has taken a step back from back-to-back runway appearances recently, she still managed to snag the honor of highest-paid model of 2018, according to Forbes magazine. Perhaps it was that long-awaited return to the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, or maybe that Calvin Klein campaign she participated in with all her sisters. Of course, that Adidas partnership couldn’t hurt either.
Clocking in at $22.5 million over the past year, Kendall still falls short of her younger sister’s earnings, with Forbes calculating her net worth at 13% of Kylie’s $166.5 million net worth. That said, Kendall still earned almost double Karlie Kloss’s $13 million, at number two on the same list. (It should be noted that while the list is technically categorized as 2018, it’s actually calculated during the period between June 2017 and June 2018.)
Kendall has been a somewhat controversial figure in the modeling industry over the past year, telling the world in an interview with Love magazine: “Since the beginning, we've been super selective about what shows I would do. I was never one of those girls who would do, like, 30 shows a season or whatever the f*ck those girls do.” She continued on, “More power to 'em. But I had a million jobs, not only catwalks, but everything else. The whole combination was very overwhelming and I started to freak out a little bit and needed to take a step back.”
