Kim Kardashian just spoke out about the current immigrant family separation crisis, and she said that while it is "heartbreaking," she hopes President Trump succeeds for the sake of the country.

"I try to see all sides, especially after this experience,"she told The Hollywood Reporter, referring to her own White House visit and the ensuing controversy. "There’s obviously a lot that we don’t agree with, but I want him [President Trump] to win. I want him to succeed, because it’s our country. It’s so crazy that everyone doesn’t want that."

She said she doesn't know what she would do if something like that happened to her own kids.

"It is really complex," she said. "It’s heartbreaking. When you see those images, it breaks your heart and I hope that it all gets resolved. You don’t want to see these things."

Since April, 2,000 children have been taken from their parents at the Mexican border because of a zero tolerance policy the Trump administration is enforcing. The controversial practice has sparked outrage around the world.

Considering she just negotiated a commuted sentence for Alice Marie Johnson through meeting with President Trump, Kim said people have been reaching out to her to see what she could do about the immigration situation.

“I do see people have been tweeting me about that, like, ‘Can you help with this?’"she told KTLA. “I don’t work for the White House. I don’t have influence.”

She continued by saying, "And I’ve always been very open and honest with there are a lot of things and policies that I don’t agree with, and I’ve always been honest from the start with the whole White House team about that. I stayed really focused on the case of Alice Johnson and prison reform, and I would love to help out there. If there’s anything that I can do, I obviously would do it, but I don’t have that power.”
