  • Kim Kardashian just revealed the name she and Kanye West almost picked for their fourth child, before eventually settling on Psalm West.

  • The couple have four children - daughter North West, 6, Saint West, 3, Chicago West, 1, and Psalm, who was born in May 2019.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have a history of picking unique and interesting names for their children. And while the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star once revealed she actually regretted picking the name Chicago for her youngest daughter, she's now opened up about their newborn son's name, Psalm.

In a teaser for KUWTK posted on Kris' Insta stories, Kris asks, "Kimberly, how did you guys settle on Psalm?" Kim replies, "Cause his name was gonna be Ye. Kanye doesn't like Ye cause Ye doesn't mean anything, and Kylie called at the last second and was like, 'No!' Psalm and Saint sound good together, and the kids call him now Psalmye."

Psalmye like Kanye? Amazing. Considering Kanye refers to himself as 'Ye', it could have been a cute Ye Senior / Ye Junior situation, but we understand where they're coming from.

Kris previously explained that Psalm's name is a reference to a book in the Old Testament of the Bible and is "just a wonderful way to celebrate how they feel. And he's such a blessing, so it's perfect. He's just adorable."

Thee literal translation of Psalm is "song" or "instrumental music," which is fitting considering Kanye hosts a spiritual Christian fellowship session at Sunday Service every weekend.

The baby name explanation comes as Kim revealed she was almost at the Met Gala when her surrogate was due to give birth to Psalm, but thankfully timings allowed her to return from New York to LA for the birth.
