BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Apr 7, 2014) - EMUZE & Karmaloop's highly anticipated, second annual Verge Campus Tour is set to kick off tomorrow, April 8th with new partner, Spotify. This year's Spring Tour will hit over 20 college campuses nationwide with a full line-up including Electronic Dance Music act, Krewella, Def Jam Hip Hop artist, Logic, and rising Indie act, Radical Something.

During the spring of 2013, EMUZE and Karmaloop's Verge Campus Tour made a name for itself as it visited 27 college campuses in 30 days with a multi-genre billing including Grammy nominated artists, Kendrick Lamar and Steve Aoki, and support from Bad Rabbits. Special appearances included Big Boi of Outkast, Macklemore, Young Jeezy, Kelly Rowland and Schoolboy Q to name a few. The goal for the Tour was to engage students with opportunities from leading brands during the day while curating a great music festival at night on major university campuses across the US. It's safe to say that EMUZE and Karmaloop accomplished just that as they made national headlines and reached over 500,000 students in just one month.

Unlike any other event on college campuses, the Verge Campus Tour connects the current generation of college students with top emerging artists, leading brands and non‐profit initiatives in a full day campus-to-campus takeover. By seamlessly combining an Interactive Village during the day and a series of music acts during its Night Concert, the Verge Campus Tour creates an electric atmosphere that provides students and brands an experience to remember.

During the day, the Interactive Village is a fully immersive experience where students are given the opportunity to engage with leading brands, experience live performances, presentations, new technology and music. Students who attend the Village are able to learn more about each brand, land opportunities such as internships and jobs, and build relationships. Delivering on their dream of making all the world's music available instantly to everyone, wherever and whenever they want it, Spotify -- the award-winning digital music service that gives you access to over 20 million tracks -- is powering the Verge Campus Spring Tour 2014 as presenting sponsor. They'll be connecting with music lovers at each stop, launching campus-wide collaborative playlists, and showing students how to stream and share their favorite music. Similarly, EMUZE will be collaborating with Wavo.Me, offering an opportunity for student DJs to open for the Tour at respective colleges. This year, the Interactive Village will also feature other leading brands as Young & Reckless, Reebok, G-Form, and non-profit, Pencils of Promise.

The Night Concerts are highly energetic and impactful shows reaching upwards of 8,000 students. The Verge Tour provides each university with a turnkey concert production including state of the art technology, sound and top of the line visuals, all of which are used to enhance each performance to bring each experience to the highest level possible. This year, the Verge Campus Tour will showcase Krewella's "Light Volcano," creating an atmosphere of a major music festival on each college campus. Special celebrity guest appearances are expected throughout the tour as well.

"It's our mission to provide students the best experiences and opportunities and we're thrilled to again be able to bring the Verge Campus Tour to campuses this Spring," said EMUZE & Verge Campus Co-Founder, Maxwell Zotz.

The Verge Campus Tour is a wholly owned subsidiary of EMUZE, LLC and will kick off April 8th in Orlando, Florida and will have its final performance on May 11th.
