SINGAPORE (AP) — SINGAPORE (AP) — Kulicke and Soffa Industries Inc. (KLIC) on Wednesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $23.4 million.

On a per-share basis, the Singapore-based company said it had net income of 41 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 51 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 42 cents per share.

The semiconductor equipment maker posted revenue of $202.3 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $57.1 million, or 99 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $742.5 million.

For the current quarter ending in December, Kulicke and Soffa said it expects revenue in the range of $160 million to $180 million.
