JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Landstar System Inc. (LSTR) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $58 million.

The Jacksonville, Florida-based company said it had net income of $1.62 per share.

The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.63 per share.

The freight shipper and warehouser posted revenue of $1.2 billion in the period, also missing Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.25 billion.

For the year, the company reported profit of $264.4 million, or $7.36 per share. Revenue was reported as $5.3 billion.
