Largest option buying in equities so far
Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Oracle (ORCL): Some 10,000 July 31 calls were purchased for $0.37 as investors look for the software giant to rally. ORCL rose 2.32 percent to $30.84.
Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold (FCX): Some 5,000 November 35 calls were bought for $0.30 as investors look for the metals producer to rebound from a long-term slide. FCX rose 2.20 percent to $27.44.
NorthStar Realty Finance (NRF): Investors snapped up more than 5,000 December 10 calls for $0.50 to $0.55, looking for the shares to rally. NRF rose 2.39 percent to $9.01.
