Largest option buying in equities so far
Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Ford Motor (F): Almost 30,000 May 14 calls were bought, mostly for $0.09 to $0.14 as investors look for the automaker to drive higher. F rose 1.20 percent to $13.49. (See related story )
Microsoft (MSFT): Some 15,500 July 34 calls trade, mostly for $0.70 as investors look for upside in the software giant. MSFT rose 2.71 percent to $32.62.
Petrobras (PBR): Some 17,000 May 18 calls were bought, mostly for $0.52, as investors look for upside in the Brazilian oil stock. PBR rose 0.55 percent to $18.13.
