Alcatel-Lucent (ALU): Some 12,000 January 3.83 calls were purchased, mostly for $0.85, as investors look for the shares to push higher over the course of 2014. ALU rose 1.23 percent to $4.11.

Dex Media (DXM): An investor bought 3,992 May 10 calls against open interest of $1.10 and sold an equal number of June 10 calls for $1.50. It appears that an existing in-the-money short-call position was rolled forward in time. DXM declined 5.70 percent to $10.43.
