How Low Can We Go?

A few weeks back I put out an RTI post about how high the market will reach by the end of this year. There were a couple bears in there, but most people said 3 -15% upside for stocks going into the New Year.

However, as we all know, the market never makes a straight line from the lows to the highs. We often take detours from that path. And sometimes VERY painful detours as the market wrenches out excess before the next leg higher.

So now its time to discuss the underbelly of this market. Between now and the end of the year, what is the lowest level you think the S&P 500 will reach?

(Just a reminder that right now it is at 1632. Plus the lowest level achieved this year was right out of the gate at 1426.)
