Lululemon, Goodwill, Jax Port: What's new in Jacksonville's building permits

Mason Davis Creek, a new garden-style apartment residential community development is in the works for 12175 Philips Highway.

The permits show the project will consist of eight multifamily buildings, a clubhouse, five garages, and a maintenance building that will be built out at a total cost of $33,692,423. Olympus Construction Group LLC is the contractor.

Store Space self-storage coming to Regency

A permit has been issued for SC SH Jacksonville, L.P. to build a new Store Space self-storage at 15060 Beacon Point Road in the Regency area.

When complete, the four-story, climate-controlled building will have 121,700 square feet of enclosed space. The cost of the project is $8,000,000 with CCSR Construction, LLC, handling the job.

Warehouse permit approved for Edgewood Avenue

Jax Edgewood Partners has been approved by the City of Jacksonville to build a new 96,037 square feet, structural steel warehouse at 2305 Edgewood Ave., Unit 2.

The cost of the project is $7,541,275, and The Conlan Company is the contractor.

Goodwill Industry of North Florida headquarters set for Westside

Goodwill Industry of North Florida has permit approval to do an interior renovation of an existing building at 5150 Timuquana Road.

The renovation will encompass 34,000 square feet of enclosed space and will cost $3,633,000. Eason Development is doing the work.

Improvements on tap for Southeast Toyota

The Jax Port Authority has been issued a permit for deep foundation and ground improvements and site work at Southeast Toyota at the Jax Port Authority at 8975 Dave Rawls Blvd.

The cost of the project will be $4,000,000 and J.E. Dunn Construction Co. will be the contractor.

Providence Homes offices, design center going up at eTown

A permit has been approved for Kinloch Holdings Inc. to make eTown, located between the St. Johns Town Center and Flagler Center on I-295, home to Providence Homes corporate offices and design center.

The new building will be two stories with 10,315 square feet of interior space when complete. The cost of the project comes in at $3,100,000 and Carlton Construction, Inc., will be the contractor.

Upgraded space for Lululemon as it relocates in St. Johns Town Center

Simon Property Group has been issued a permit for the interior alteration of existing retail space at 4791 River City Dr., once occupied by both Michael Kors, now closed, and Chicos, which relocated within the St. Johns Town Center.

The new 7,495 square feet space will become the home of Lululemon, known for its athletic apparel for yoga, running, and training. The cost of the project is $999,190, with Management Resource System Inc., doing the work.

New car wash for Beach Boulevard

A new car wash is on tap for the property where European Street Cafe once stood at 5500 Beach Blvd.

Scrubbles Beach Boulevard Express Wash LLC has obtained a permit to build out a 3,890 square feet Scrubbles car wash. The cost of the project will be $715,000, and the Angelo Group, Inc. is doing the work.
