Makeup artist's flawless driver's license photo gives Kardashians a run for their money
Everyone knows that driver’s license photos are awkward and rushed and aren’t flattering. Still, celebrity makeup artist Lilly Ghalichi, creator of the glam Lilly Lashes, somehow managed to look like a magazine-cover model in hers.
Ghalichi recently tied the knot and changed her last name to her husband’s, so she needed a new license to match. And while the headshot for the new one would be DMV goals for anyone, she was not quite satisfied with the glamorous pic, noting in an Instagram post, “You can’t even see my full glam! My hair was everything that day! Photo Robbery!!!” Apparently, the DMV cropped out most of her locks and she wasn’t happy. But many of her 2.7 million followers were — with her photo, posted Oct. 27, inspiring more than 39,500 likes.

Ghalichi is not the only driver with skills (or resources) enough to look flawless in ID photos, as celebrities will often go all-out when it comes to snapping the perfect glam shot for that photo that will stick with you for at least 10 years.
In a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloé, 33, went to great lengths for the perfect ID shot that she needed after officially dropping “Odom,” her ex-husband’s last name, and having to renew her license.
Dressed in a bodysuit with a plunging neckline and black jeans, the reality-TV star made the show’s lighting director, Landon Hosto, hold a lighting ring around the DMV’s camera lens to ensure that her photo was luminous.

Khloé’s best friend, Malika Haqq, was there to make sure that her hair and makeup were on point. Then, after going the extra mile for her ID, they enjoyed a driver’s license cake to celebrate her going back to being just a Kardashian.

Perhaps Khloé took inspiration from her big sister Kim Kardashian, who also had had a full crew behind her famous passport photo.
After marrying rapper Kanye West, the mother of two chose to take his last name and thus needed new IDs. With sleekly pulled-back hair and a neutral makeup glow, Mrs. West looked totally gorgeous in her new passport pic.

Another celebrity to spice up her DMV visit has been Victoria Beckham. The former Spice Girl documented her unusual time at the DMV in her reality show, Coming to America, way back in 2007.
Beckham took a written driving test to get an American driver’s license, and after a slight bit of help from her assistant, she passed.
A decade later, her visit to the California DMV remains an iconic Posh Spice moment.

The designer is not the only Brit with flawless ID photos, though, as all the members of One Direction also managed to look great in their passport shots several years back.
