From Town & Country

When Meghan Markle married Prince Harry, the world was introduced to her inner circle. Pals like Jessica Mulroney, Misha Nonoo, Benita Litt, Serena Williams, and Priyanka Chopra all attended the nuptials, and now that Meghan is settling into her role as the Duchess of Sussex, she's taking on new projects, and her friends are being as supportive as ever.

In her first solo project as a royal, Meghan has written the foreword to a cookbook called Together: Our Community Cookbook. Proceeds from the book will help support Hubb Community Kitchen, a place where women affected by the Grenfell Tower fire come to congregate and cook for their families. Meghan has been privately visiting the kitchen for about nine months.

Ahead of the cookbook's release on September 20, Meghan's friend and sometimes stylist Jessica Mulroney posted an encouraging message for Meghan on her Instagram page.

Mulroney shared an image of the cookbook, captioning the photo, "Women supporting women. Life is a all about sharing, laughing and #cookingtogether. This is more than a cookbook, these are beautiful stories and the 'healing power of sharing food'. Link to purchase the book and support this meaningful cause in bio. Very proud of you today."

Serena Williams also shared a supportive post for her friend Meghan on her Twitter feed.

"I used to call you Meghan (and I still do) but dear Duchess of Sussex your first project 'Together' a cookbook bringing women of all cultures together," the tennis star wrote. "I could not be more excited about it and proud of you. It’s beautiful-diversity, inclusivity, coming together in grief or joy."
