Meryl Streep Seen Enjoying This Guilty Pleasure During BTS Shots of 'Little Women'

"Little Women" is weeks away from a Christmas Day release, and for those looking for a last-minute holiday gift for Meryl Streep, some behind-the-scenes shots taken during production may reveal what she's really craving. The never-before-seen photos were posted to Instagram on Saturday by Streep's "Little Women" co-star, Timothée Chalamet.

In a series of photos posted by Chalamet, he can be seen in some fun candid moments during the classic period coming-of-age drama, which was filmed in 2018 in and around Boston, Massachusetts.

French Fries!

In one fantastic shot, Meryl Streep, who plays Aunt March, sitting next to Florence Pugh, director Greta Gurwig and Chalamet, enjoying some Wendy's french fries while staying in costume between takes. One may think that 70-year-old Streep would be into more refined snacks, but perhaps this little candid moment just adds onto the mystique of why Streep is such an iconic and versatile performer. It's unclear if she also dips her french fries in Wendy's trademark Frosty, which many believe is the ultimate combination of sweet and salty glory.

Streep Ordered the Meal

It actually turns out Meryl Streep was the one who ordered the fast-food fix during production of "Little Women." During a Q&A session about the upcoming film, it was revealed the legendary actress placed the order. Co-star Saoirse Ronan said she was "shocked," and Streep joked she was only trying to save a little coin with some cheap food.

While promoting "Little Women" on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert," Florence Pugh revealed how the fast-food delivery went down. She said they were filming at a Boston Park, and it was very cold and long in between takes. Streep was the first to talk about the snack, admitting she'd "Kill for some fries."

Pugh revealed that Streep had barely finished wishing for fries when a P.A. came breathlessly running to deliver them some Wendy's french fries in about "10 minutes." Colbert quipped that having your own "fry wrangler" is when you know you've really made it in show business.

Other photos shared by Chalamet included him and Emma Watson throwing up deuces while lounging near set, as well as Saoirse Ronan, Eliza Scanlen, and Florence Pugh scarfing down on some craft services in between takes.

"Little Women" hits theaters on December 25.
