Missing girl, assault rifle, cocaine, found during drug bust focused on Lawrence County juvenile

A missing girl, cocaine and multiple firearms were found during a search warrant execution that was focused on a Lawrence County juvenile.

Officials from the Lawrence County district attorney’s office said they were investigating the juvenile, who was believed to be involved in the sale of drugs and possessed illegal firearms.

At the house where the juvenile was found, police seized an assault rifle and three handguns. They also found multiple weapon modifiers, including extended magazines.

Officers also discovered crack cocaine and marijuana at the scene.

A juvenile girl who had been missing from the East Coast for more than a year was also found in the house. She was returned to the proper authorities in her area.
