Entertainment industry focused DeFi NFT marketplace partners with award-winning ‘The Simpsons' creators for landmark series.

TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / July 19, 2022 / Mogul Productions, a DeFi and NFT marketplace platform innovating at the convergence point between the film and entertainment industry, is set to unveil the world's first NFT animated series, called The Mogies.

The series will follow the adventures of the Hollywood-inspired characters, who are aliens that feed on entertainment. Mogul Productions has enlisted some heavy hitters from the world of animation to bring it to life.

The Mogies animated series is a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Hollywood sign being erected. Mogul Productions is bringing the fun to the 1923 milestone. The Mogies is a collection of 1,923 NFTs, inspired by the last 100 years of Hollywood characters and personalities in celebration of the centennial anniversary. All of which leads into the upcoming animated series, and the new expanding Mogieland metaverse, currently under development.

Mogies were designed by Erick Tran and his team at CHAVVO Studios. The award-winning, transmedia production team has worked with major Hollywood studios including Disney, Universal, Marvel Entertainment, Sony Animation, Cartoon Network, Fox, Dreamworks, Nickelodeon, and EA. The team has been involved in the production of major box office hits including The Simpsons Movie and series, Kung Fu Panda, The Avengers and many more.

Mogies are parody characters of Hollywood icons and interact through exciting adventures inside Mogieland. The character archetypes represented by the series run the gamut, from action heroes, villains, talk show hosts, children's characters, fighters, princesses, or other Hollywood-inspired characters. There are different tiers of rarity, with the top 23 NFTs in Tier 1 having their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Mogie holders also have the opportunity to be part of the filmmaking process.

Upon the launch of the series, NFT holders will have the IP rights to their Hollywood-inspired NFT forever. Users will own a piece of the animated series and select holders will receive a special "thank you" displayed during the end credits. A number of Mogie characters have already been selected to be part of the animated series, and others will join the cast as additional episodes are produced.

In addition to the characters' big debut in the upcoming animated series, the NFTs will also be part of the Mogieland Metaverse, which will bring some of the most famous landmarks in Hollywood, Sunset Boulevard, and the Hollywood Hills.
