TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Mosaic Co. (MOS) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $365.3 million.

The Tampa, Florida-based company said it had profit of $1.11 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 71 cents per share.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 82 cents per share.

The fertilizer maker posted revenue of $3.15 billion in the period, which topped Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $3.01 billion.

For the year, the company reported profit of $1.16 billion, or $3.50 per share. Revenue was reported as $13.7 billion.
