ICYMI, Nancy Pelosi is a bonafide style icon — one that apparently has the power to bring pieces from seasons past back from the fashion dead.

The Democratic senator and current House Minority Leader had the Internet talking about outwear (though, for different reasons than the First Lady) when she met with President Trump, Vice President Pence and Sen. Chuck Schumer at the White House on Tuesday afternoon to discuss proposed funding for that border wall. Just after the meeting wrapped, Pelosi emerged from the West Wing dressed like a total boss: That fabulous red coat. The slicked back bob. Those shades. Could this be the new power look? Twitter seemed to think so.

Some people even questioned on where they could purchase the much-talked about outerwear.

As noted by The New York Times and other outlets, the coat was designed by Max Mara and is the “Glamis” style.

However, there’s bad news and good news. Unfortunately, the style is from a past collection that debuted in 2013. The good news is that apparently Pelosi’s coat had such a moment that the Italian fashion house decided to re-release it for 2019 in “a variety of color ways,” as reported by Glamour's Mattie Kahn on Twitter.

Speaking on the viral coat moment, the creative director of Max Mara, Ian Griffiths, told the Times, "You develop an emotional relationship with a coat like nothing else in your wardrobe. I can imagine why Ms. Pelosi chose to wear it for this important moment, and I’m honored.”

2019 can't come soon enough.
