NetApp, Inc. (Nasdaq: NTAP) unveiled a range of products and enhancements at its Insight user conference to fortify its capabilities in generative AI and cybersecurity.
The company is addressing IT priorities by expanding its offerings for AI and ransomware protection.
Key products include NetApp ONTAP AI verified for AFF C-Series systems, which supports ONTAP AI with a competitive price-to-performance ratio, and the NVIDIA DGX BasePOD to lower the cost of entry to scalable AI.
NetApp is building a strong ecosystem with partnerships that include NVIDIA, MLOps platforms, and major hyperscale cloud providers.
In terms of cybersecurity, NetApp integrated data services into its storage offerings, offering data security, recovery from cyber attacks, and policy-driven data governance across multi-hybrid cloud environments.
NetApp also introduced the Autonomous Ransomware Protection (ARP) feature, becoming the fastest-adopted ONTAP feature in the company’s history.
