CAMAS, Wash. (AP) — CAMAS, Wash. (AP) — NLight Inc. (LASR) on Thursday reported a loss of $13.2 million in its fourth quarter.

The Camas, Washington-based company said it had a loss of 28 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense and restructuring costs, came to 13 cents per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 14 cents per share.

The laser maker posted revenue of $51.9 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $48.1 million.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $41.7 million, or 90 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $209.9 million.

For the current quarter ending in March, nLight said it expects revenue in the range of $42 million to $46 million.
