LEWISTON, Maine (AP) _ Northeast Bancorp (NBN) on Monday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $5.1 million.

The Lewiston, Maine-based company said it had profit of 56 cents per share.

The holding company for Northeast Bank posted revenue of $21.9 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $17.2 million.

Northeast Bancorp shares have risen nearly 6 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $17.69, a decrease of 25 percent in the last 12 months.
