Panorama Education Doubles Headcount, Expands Boston Office

Edtech Startup Closes 2015 With Significant Growth, Major New School District Clients

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Jan 25, 2016) - Panorama Education (www.panoramaed.com), which partners with K-12 schools to collect and analyze feedback from teachers, parents and students, announced today that it has signed a new lease to nearly double the size of its Boston headquarters, after doubling its employee base in 2015.

Panorama Education Co-Founder and CEO Aaron Feuer reports that the company continues to hire aggressively to keep ahead of customer demand for its data collection and analysis technology, which help schools and districts collect feedback through surveys and then analyze the data in order to improve the learning environment. Panorama currently serves more than three million students across 40 states, helping teachers, principals, and district leaders understand and take action on key issues, including student engagement, social-emotional learning, family involvement, school culture, and teacher retention. Of America's Top 100 largest school districts, 14 have already adopted Panorama along with most major charter networks and hundreds of smaller districts across the country.

Other 2015 achievements for Panorama include:

  • Raising a $12M Series A funding round with participation from Owl Ventures and Spark Capital.

  • Launching Playbook, a professional learning platform built by teachers for teachers, which already has a user community of 7,000 teachers.

  • Signing large new districts, including the Dallas Independent School District, Seattle Public Schools, Broward County (Fla.) Public Schools, and Newton (Mass.) Public Schools.

"Demand for Panorama's solutions is soaring as more districts aim to measure what really matters for improving teaching and schools," said Feuer. "Our mission to empower educators with data and best practices has struck a chord. We're grateful to the many forward-thinking educators who have put their faith in Panorama, and who are now seeing firsthand how data can meaningfully impact K-12 education."

"It's great to see Panorama's team growing in Boston," said Pia Durkin, Ph.D., Superintendent of New Bedford Public Schools (NBPS). "This is our second year partnering with Panorama to collect feedback from students, families, staff and the New Bedford community. In our first year working with Panorama, NBPS tripled our participation rate from the previous year. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the Panorama team to increase community participation in giving feedback, and to use feedback data to set priorities for our district as we build an excellent school system for all children."

Panorama currently has a number of job openings, including designer, product manager, vice president of account management, and vice president of sales. To see all openings, visit https://www.panoramaed.com/about/jobs.
