SUNNYVALE, Calif. (AP) _ QuickLogic Corp. (QUIK) on Wednesday reported a loss of $3.1 million in its fourth quarter.

The Sunnyvale, California-based company said it had a loss of 3 cents per share.

The maker of chips for mobile and portable electronics manufacturers posted revenue of $3.2 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $13.8 million, or 15 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $12.6 million.

In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit $1.04. A year ago, they were trading at $1.98.
