BOSTON (AP) _ Rapid7 Inc. (RPD) on Tuesday reported a loss of $14.4 million in its third quarter.

The cybersecurity company posted revenue of $83.2 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $80.1 million.

For the current quarter ending in December, Rapid7 said it expects revenue in the range of $87.4 million to $89 million.

The company expects full-year earnings in the range of 3 cents to 5 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $322.7 million to $324.3 million.

Rapid7 shares have risen 63% since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 44% in the last 12 months.
