RV park underway; new services available soon

Nov. 4—An RV park on Mitchell Creek Road, just a half-mile from Camping World, is set to open in late spring 2024.

Structure framing and infrastructure is underway at The Farm RV Resort and the amenities of this new facility will offer the conveniences of camping with a high-end touch. According to Paula Thompson, executive director of the London Laurel County Economic Development Authority, The Farm RV Resort will offer a fully-stocked convenience store, two swimming pools for campers, outdoor firepits, cornhole areas, a playground, multiple bath houses, two pickleball courts and high speed fiber optic throughout the property. There will be over 150 camp sites available for rent — all furnished with water, electric and sewer.

Sweet and treat lovers will have their heyday soon, with the opening of three new businesses.

—Cakes for Causes is a local non-profit organization located in Dog Patch Trading Center and combines the sweet tooth with local support.
