The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 14 cents per share.

The provider of technology services to the travel industry posted revenue of $687.1 million in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $707.9 million.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $527.6 million, or $1.56 per share. Revenue was reported as $2.91 billion.

For the current quarter ending in March, Sabre said it expects revenue in the range of $750 million.

The company expects full-year revenue of $3 billion.
