SailPoint Technologies: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) _ SailPoint Technologies Holdings Inc. (SAIL) on Wednesday reported third-quarter profit of $3.3 million.

On a per-share basis, the Austin, Texas-based company said it had profit of 4 cents. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense and amortization costs, came to 12 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 2 cents per share.

The identity governance software developer posted revenue of $66.4 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $55.1 million.

For the current quarter ending in December, SailPoint Technologies said it expects revenue in the range of $70 million to $71.5 million.

SailPoint Technologies shares have risen 87 percent since the beginning of the year.
