Shalwin Properties Acquires 88-Unit Apartment Complex in KS, Expands Investments into Oil & Gas and Other Asset Classes
WICHITA, KS / ACCESSWIRE / May 1, 2023 / Shalwin Properties, whose mission is to help other professionals build and protect their wealth so they can reclaim their lives and freedom, has announced the expansion of its real estate portfolio into Wichita, Kansas. With the acquisition of an 88-unit apartment complex near the downtown of the city, the company now manages over $184MM in assets and 1,418 units across three states. Additionally, founder Dr. Ronnie Shalev reveals that Shalwin Properties has also begun investing in oil and gas, build-to-rent developments, and private equity funds.
"For much of 2023, we have been actively seeking out new investment opportunities and conducting research into markets around the country. After deciding to invest in Wichita and spending time looking at different properties around the city, we were very happy to acquire our new complex at a discounted price," says Dr. Ronnie Shalev. "We will be in Wichita for the long term, and we are currently managing the renovations with an eye on increasing its value."
Shalwin Properties goal is to help investors to diversify their portfolios through passive alternative investing; the company has begun expanding into alternative asset classes other than real estate.
