On a per-share basis, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had profit of 7 cents. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment gains, were 3 cents per share.

The mineral miner posted revenue of $35 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $39.7 million, or 23 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $170.5 million.

In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit $2.09. A year ago, they were trading at $2.97.
