SK Telecom, South Korea's largest mobile carrier, has announced a collaboration with Aptos and Atomrigs Lab to further enhance its web3 wallet service, T wallet. The collaboration intends to expand SK Telecom's ties to mainnets and decentralized applications preferred by customers, with a particular emphasis on T wallet.

According to SK Telecom's LinkedIn post, the relationship with Aptos represents the company's first integration with a non-Ethereum virtual machine blockchain. The partnership intends to provide users with actual value by connecting them to Aptos' expanding dApp ecosystem. The integration will make use of Aptos' unique MoveVM blockchain technology, marking an important step towards making web3 services more available to a broader audience.

Avery Ching, co-founder and chief technology officer of Aptos, expressed excitement about unlocking new internet experiences through blockchain technology, emphasizing Move's sub-second latency, high throughput, and enterprise-grade operations.

This agreement comes on the back of SK Telecom's recent involvement with CryptoQuant for the introduction of T wallet. The wallet allows users to store tokens on their mobile phones using a blockchain-based application. In addition, in August, SK Telecom partnered with Polygon Labs to develop its web3 ecosystem.
