Free-agent guard Tyreke Evans has agreed to a one-year, $12 million deal with the Indiana Pacers, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Evans, the 2010 NBA Rookie of the Year, is coming off an excellent season with the Memphis Grizzlies in which he averaged 19.4 points, 5.2 assists and 5.1 rebounds, and shot 39.9 percent from 3-point range.

His pairing with All-Star Victor Oladipo should give Indiana one of the league’s most dynamic and well-rounded backcourts.

Evans, 28, is in his ninth season and has played with Sacramento, New Orleans and Memphis.

The fourth overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft, Evans has career averages of 16.5 points, 5.1 assists and 4.8 rebounds.
