SpectraScience Rescheduling Workshops Due to High Demand

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 26, 2013) - SpectraScience, Inc. (OTCQB: SCIE) announced today that the Company's first in a series of endoscopy workshops featuring the WavSTAT4, which was originally scheduled for April 25, 2013 in Erlangen, Germany, has been rescheduled. Greater than expected demand has resulted in a need to reschedule the entire series of workshops to add additional dates and insure the venue can accommodate larger workshop size.

"We're excited to see the reception and interest from both gastroenterologists and nurse endoscopists in our WavSTAT4 product," said SpectraScience President and CEO, Michael Oliver. "We know there is more credibility when clinicians take the time to explain and demonstrate the advantages of using a new technology. These workshops are the perfect venue for that process."

The series of one-day workshops, which will be attended by leading Gastroenterologists and Nurse Endoscopists from throughout Europe, will consist of presentations, demonstrations and discussions focused on the best new technologies in gastroenterology.

The Company is currently working to accommodate this increased demand and will issue an update announcing the new dates, times and location of the expanded workshop series as soon as that information is available.
