Standex: Fiscal 2Q Earnings Snapshot

SALEM, N.H. (AP) _ Standex International Corp. (SXI) on Wednesday reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $13.4 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Salem, New Hampshire-based company said it had net income of $1.05. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 98 cents per share.

The equipment manufacturing company posted revenue of $195.5 million in the period.

Standex shares have climbed 18 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $79.27, a fall of 22 percent in the last 12 months.
