(OTC PINK:SUIC) today announced that SUIC's IHart signed a memorandum of understanding with Tah An Kong Yen Foods Co. Ltd. (Taiwan), which is one of Taiwan's largest and most experienced manufacturers of vinegar, sauces and seasonings and a major agricultural and foods supplier. Kong Yen Foods will team up with other renowned catering groups and unveil a new line of innovative food products to enter the U.S. markets.
Established in 1941, Kong Yen Foods is founded by a renowned vinegar-making family in Taiwan a century ago. The main products include white vinegar, black vinegar, ready-to-drink vinegar, fruit vinegar, miso, curry, natto, cordyceps mycelium capsules, various sauces and more than 100 kinds of other products. Kong Yen Foods specializes in brewing research and owns Food GMP, CAS and TQF excellent product certification companies and has passed ISO22000, HACCP and Islamic Halal certification.
It worked with the Taiwan Monopoly Bureau factory to develop the technology of making vinegar from rice wine. Kong Yen Foods production of Mycelia of Cordyceps Sinensis was achieved through the collaboration with the Biotechnology Division of the Institute of Industrial Research.
