Tanzanian Royalty Exploration posts loss of $1.5 million in first quarter
SOUTH SURREY, British Columbia (AP) _ Tanzanian Royalty Exploration Corp. (TRX) on Thursday reported a loss of $1.5 million in its fiscal first quarter.
On a per-share basis, the South Surrey, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 1 cent.
In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit 56 cents. A year ago, they were trading at 28 cents.
