BUENA, N.J. (AP) _ Teligent Inc. (TLGT) on Tuesday reported a loss of $3.9 million in its third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Buena, New Jersey-based company said it had a loss of 7 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, came to less than 1 cent on a per-share basis.

The specialty generic pharmaceutical company posted revenue of $18.3 million in the period.

In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company's shares hit $3.18. A year ago, they were trading at $3.48.
