On a per-share basis, the Oakland, California-based company said it had a loss of 14 cents.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 13 cents per share.

The online seller of secondhand clothing posted revenue of $81.4 million in the period, beating Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $80.3 million.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $71.2 million, or 68 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $322 million.

For the current quarter ending in March, ThredUp said it expects revenue in the range of $79 million to $81 million.

The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $340 million to $350 million.
