Helios and Matheson Analytics Inc. shares were on fire in Tuesday trading, closing the day up a little over 15% on significant trading volume. The company, which owns MoviePass, saw its shares rise after Citadel Securities disclosed that it has a 5.4% stake in the company, making it the second largest stakeholder. This was encouraging news for investors as the stock has dramatically dropped 467% or so since the year started. Concerns over the company's cash reserves dropping has had Wall Street selling off for a while and so has the company's latest quarterly report that missed expectations. MoviePass is a monthly subscription service that allows customers to see an unlimited number of movies for just $10 a month.

The Walt Disney Company shares closed down 2.46% on Tuesday as the market resumed trading after the holiday. Shares of the entertainment company saw a dip as headlines surfaced all over about the show Roseanne being cancelled from ABC over Roseanne Barr saying racist remarks on her Twitter account. Barr took to Twitter to insult a former Obama administration official by comparing her to an ape. ABC, which is owned by Disney, promptly cancelled the show and President Channing stated, "Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show." Fellow cast mate, Sara Gilbert tweeted and said, "Roseanne's recent comments about Valerie Jarrett, and so much more, are abhorrent and do not reflect the beliefs of our cast and crew or anyone associated with our show. I am disappointed in her actions to say the least."
