TPI Composites: Q4 Earnings Snapshot

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — TPI Composites Inc. (TPIC) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $25 million.

The Scottsdale, Arizona-based company said it had net income of 31 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted to account for discontinued operations, were 27 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 91 cents per share.

The maker of composite wind blades posted revenue of $297 million in the period, which fell short of Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $340.9 million.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $119.2 million, or $4.16 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.46 billion.
