SUGAR LAND, Texas (AP) _ Trecora Resources (TREC) on Monday reported first-quarter profit of $1.8 million.

On a per-share basis, the Sugar Land, Texas-based company said it had net income of 7 cents.

The petrochemical company posted revenue of $65.2 million in the period.

Trecora shares have increased 24% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $9.65, a drop of 21% in the last 12 months.
