WINCHESTER, Va. (AP) — WINCHESTER, Va. (AP) — Trex Co. (TREX) on Monday reported third-quarter net income of $65.3 million.

The Winchester, Virginia-based company said it had net income of 60 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 57 cents per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 49 cents per share.

The maker of fencing and decking products posted revenue of $303.8 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $291.4 million.

For the current quarter ending in December, Trex said it expects revenue in the range of $185 million to $195 million.

The company expects full-year revenue of $1.09 billion.
