U.S. agency key to presidential transition to brief lawmakers next week -CNN

WASHINGTON, Nov 23 (Reuters) - The deputy administrator for the U.S. General Services Administration - a key federal agency that must sign off on the presidential transition following the U.S. election - will brief lawmakers next week, a CNN reporter said on Twitter on Monday, citing an agency spokesperson.

The GSA official on Nov. 30 will speak with the top Democrat and Republican on four U.S. House of Representative committees, following a request by the panel's Democratic chairs, as well as lawmakers on three U.S. Senate panels, CNN's Kristen Holmes reported.
